Emporos is an independent practice providing research, field assessment, advance preparation and client-side support for activity across borders. We are based in the Black Sea region and work internationally.
The name comes from the classical Greek emporos, a merchant in passage.
Experience
Our work draws on more than two decades of international field experience, in settings ranging from conflict-affected and post-conflict environments to established commercial and diplomatic centres across the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. It has supported peacekeeping operations, stabilisation activities, diplomatic missions, development programmes and commercial assignments, and spans:

How the practice works
Each assignment is led by a senior adviser, with experienced associates and selected local specialists where the work requires them. Full credentials and background are provided to clients directly.
We act for the client alone and accept no commission, referral fee or mark-up from any provider. Every assignment is handled confidentially.
