Travel & Mobility
Destination and field capability for travel, mobility and hospitality
Emporos supports operators entering unfamiliar or recovering destinations, and those needing additional local assessment or preparation capacity. It extends their reach with an independent assessment of a destination and the capacity to prepare and coordinate on the ground.
We support tour, charter, cruise and superyacht operators; event, conference and delegation organisers; corporate travel and mobility teams; relocation and destination-service providers; and hospitality businesses entering new or recovering destinations.
Destination research and assessment
We research a destination’s operating conditions, including security and field hazards, access and movement, and the availability and reliability of local infrastructure and services. Where the brief requires, we assess hotels, venues, transport, routes and providers in person against agreed practical requirements, including capacity, reliability and specified safety criteria. Matters requiring technical safety assessment are referred to the client’s appointed specialists.
Destination planning
Where commissioned, we prepare destination plans within the client’s criteria and mandate, or adapt the practical arrangements in the client’s existing plans to local conditions. Plans cover agreed local arrangements, providers, routes, practical dependencies and contingency options for the client’s approval.
Specialist safety requirements and contingency measures are reviewed and approved through the client’s designated advisers.
Advance preparation and provider briefing
Before arrival, we confirm arrangements, brief local providers to the client’s standards and prepare a handover for the client’s team or appointed local operator.
In-country coordination
During a visit, initial programme or other agreed phase, we coordinate agreed arrangements, observe provider delivery against the brief, report discrepancies and follow up with the responsible party. Decisions outside our delegated authority are referred to the client’s designated lead.
Relocation and extended stays
For relocation providers and their clients, we research neighbourhoods and locations, assess local services and practical arrangements, and support arrival and settling-in for an agreed period.
Emporos works on the client’s behalf within the agreed mandate and accepts no commissions, referral fees or mark-ups from local providers it assesses, recommends or coordinates. Any commercial interest involving specialist associates or introduced specialists is disclosed in advance.
